Apple Card, Cash, and Savings

Connect Apple Card, Cash, and Savings through FinanceKit.

Apple Card, Apple Cash, and Apple Savings connect through FinanceKit, which reads them from Wallet on your iPhone instead of going through Plaid.

Connecting

From Add account, choose the Apple option and allow Penny access to your Apple financial accounts when iOS asks.

How syncing differs

Apple accounts sync only when Penny runs on the iPhone that holds them:

  • Penny on iPad shows what your iPhone last uploaded.
  • New transactions upload when you open Penny on that iPhone.
  • A large first import may take several passes. The Accounts tab shows a sync banner while it runs.

If Apple accounts don't appear

Confirm the accounts appear in Wallet on this iPhone.

Check iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Financial Data and make sure Penny is allowed. If you declined the permission prompt, turn it on here; Penny can't ask again on its own.

Open Penny on the iPhone (not iPad) and pull to refresh on the Accounts tab.

Revoking access

Turn Penny off under iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Financial Data. Syncing stops immediately. Transactions already in Penny stay until you delete the accounts.
