Members and roles
Invite a partner, family member, or accountant, and choose what they can do.
Inviting someone
The owner invites people from Settings → Members → Invite by entering an email and choosing a role. The invitee opens the emailed link on their iPhone and signs in or creates their own Penny account with the invited email address to join. Your login and bank credentials stay private.
Invites expire after 30 days and can be resent once an hour. Cancel a pending invite from the Members screen and its link stops working immediately.
Joining one household doesn't grant access to your others.
Roles
Every role can see every account and transaction in the household. Roles control who can change things.

There's one owner, initially whoever created the household, and the owner's subscription covers everyone in it. Ownership can't be transferred in the app yet; contact us to hand a household over.
Changing or removing someone
The owner can switch someone between viewer and member, or remove them, from the Members screen. Changes take effect immediately. The owner can't be removed.
Accounts a removed person connected stay in the household, and their bank connections stay authorized. Delete any the household should no longer track.
