Penny helps you track spending, subscriptions, and net worth across your accounts. You can use it on your own or share a household with your partner. It doesn't replace an accountant or tax professional.
Penny supports bank accounts, credit cards, and investments in the United States. Check the Connection status page for your institution. Canada is planned next. If you're in another country, let us know so we can consider it.
The annual plan includes a 7-day free trial for eligible subscribers. To avoid a charge, cancel through Apple's subscription settings at least 24 hours before the trial ends. The monthly plan has no trial and is billed when you subscribe.
Yes. On your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions → Penny → Cancel Subscription. You'll keep access through the end of your paid billing period.
Bank connections are encrypted and read-only, so Penny can't move money out of your accounts. We don't sell your personal information. Our Privacy Policy explains how we store and share data.
Yes. You each have your own login and see the accounts, transactions, and categories in your shared household. Everyone in that household can see all accounts added to it. Keep accounts you don't want to share in a separate household.
Both billing options include API access to your transactions, balances, and categories. Use it to bring your data into spreadsheets or your own apps. Create a token in the app under Settings → API Tokens.
