Household Accounts
If you create or join a household within Penny, you acknowledge that:
- Other household members will have access to view your connected accounts, transactions, and financial data
- You are responsible for only inviting trusted individuals to your household
- You can leave a household at any time, which will revoke other members' access to your data going forward
- The household owner may remove members or delete the household at any time
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
- Transmit any viruses, malware, or harmful code
- Collect or harvest any information from other users
- Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications
- Impersonate any person or entity
Financial Data
Third-Party Connections
Our Service connects to financial institutions through secure third-party services. By using these features, you:
- Authorize us to access your financial account information
- Acknowledge that we are not responsible for the accuracy of data provided by financial institutions
- Understand that connection availability depends on third-party services

Our total liability shall not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Penny and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:
- Your use of the Service
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any third-party rights
Dispute Resolution
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Arbitration
Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration, rather than in court, except that you may assert claims in small claims court if your claims qualify.
Class Action Waiver
You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
Jury Trial Waiver
You and Penny waive any constitutional and statutory rights to go to court and have a trial in front of a judge or a jury.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
